Youth Activities
We have a number of opportunities for youth!!!
Youth Group
We have a number of events including overnight retreats, service ministries and fellowship. These offerings are for students in the 6th through 12th grades.
Mission Trips
Each summer the youth of Grace and Holy Trinity Church undertake mission trips.
Acolytes
Acolytes assist with the Sunday services at 8:45am and at 11:00am.
Diocese of Virginia Youth Weekends
6th and 7th graders, 8th graders, and 9th-12th graders each have their own weekends at the Diocesan Conference Center, Shrine Mont. These weekends provide the opportunity for our youth to meet and make friends with youth from across the Diocese of Virginia.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Speak with your Sunday School teachers to learn more.
8:45 Sunday Service Music Team
The 8:45 Service enjoys participation by an intergenerational music team. Several youth participate, as singers and as instrumentalists, in this contemporary service. For more information just e-mail Beth Davis, our Assistant for Music Ministries.
Youth E-mails
The best way to stay updated about Grace and Holy Trinity youth events is to receive the youth emails. These emails go out weekly and explain upcoming events and how to get involved. Please e-mail Mary Cay Kollmansperger if you would like to receive weekly youth emails.
