Christmas Ministry
The Christmas Ministry annually provides Christmas gifts and clothing for 25–35 students in need at a local elementary school. Parishioners sponsor each student by providing clothing and gifts. Other parishioners make monetary donations which are used to buy gift cards for the student families and teachers. We seek volunteers to assist in organizing sponsors and delivering gifts. 2025 Christmas Ministry
GHTC sponsored 28 children ages 1–14 this year.
GHTC annually sponsors children and their families from local elementary schools for Christmas. Many of these children live in hotels and shelters and need support for food and clothing. Sponsorships will begin in November. Each family consists of one to four children. Detailed instructions for gifts are given to each sponsor. Unwrapped gifts are brought to the Church parking lot on a Saturday in December 13th, or are picked up from your home.
Monetary donations help purchase grocery store gift cards to assist the families and teachers supporting these students. Monetary Donations can be sent to GHTC Financial Administrator Kathy Schultheis with “Christmas Ministry” noted.
