Lectio Divina meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the upcoming Gospel for the following Sunday. If you would like to join, please contact Beth McClelland or Mary Ann Blankenship.

Christmas Memorial Poinsettias
As we prepare for Christmas, we invite you to make a donation for one or more poinsettias in memory of someone who is deceased. Please visit our Give page and select the “memorial” fund, and enter your loved one’s name in the “note” section. The cost is whatever you would like to contribute, and the memorial names will be printed in the Christmas Eve bulletins. The deadline to submit is December 11th. Your donations support the work of the Altar Guild. You may also contact Judy Bowman in the church office at (804) 359-5628 x14.

Harvest on the Altar
This Sunday’s harvest table is given to the glory of God, and in loving memory of Rowan Francis by Bev Eggleston. If you would like to remember or honor a loved one by giving the altar flowers, please contact Judy Bowman at 804-359-5628 (ext. 14), with dates and specific requests (such as colors and/or particular flowers). The cost is $100. You may mail a check or handle the cost online at ghtc.org/give.

Outreach

Red Door Ministry Coat & Glove Drive
As the winter months approach, Red Door is seeking donations of coats, gloves, and scarves for Richmonders in need. Please drop off any new or gently used winter gear at the service ministry box between the elevator and the kitchen.

Red Door Thanksgiving with Shood – November 25
Shood will be here on Friday, November 25th, to give slightly used reconditioned athletic shoes to our Red Door visitors at noon. Shood is a non-profit founded by GHTC parishioner Robin Telfian, and operated in partnership with Jeff Wells, owner of two Fleet Feet stores in the area. “Shood makes gently used, high-quality shoes available to those in need through a pop-up shopping experience throughout Richmond, Virginia.”
