Our New Associate Rector

Dear Grace and Holy Trinity,

I am delighted to announce that we have called a new associate rector, The Rev. Paul Evans, with the unanimous support of the search committee and Vestry, and that he has accepted the call. Paul’s primary focus will be the leadership of our parish administration and communication team. He brings more than 15 years of experience in this area, having served at various Episcopal churches and schools.

Some of you will remember Paul, as he served Grace and Holy Trinity as the part-time assistant in our youth ministry programs before attending seminary. I know that Paul will bring genuine warmth and commitment to his work here, a parish he already loves.

Paul grew up in Richmond and happily returns home with his wife, Molly. He was ordained a transitional deacon this past March, and will be ordained a priest, God-willing, on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Paul is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary (MDiv), James Madison University (BA and MA), and St. Christopher’s School.

We will celebrate his first Sunday with us on June 26th. I know you will join me in extending a warm welcome to Paul and Molly.

In Christ,

Duane Nettles, Rector
