Rev. Kim Reinholz leaves Grace and Holy

From the Rector

Dear Grace and Holy Trinity,

As with many of us, the last eighteen months have been a time of reflection and changes. I am writing to let you know that Rev. Kimberly Reinholz has submitted her resignation to me after over six years as our associate rector. Her last day will be Sunday, November 14, 2021. I have enjoyed working with her over the past year. She has provided me with perspective, historical context, and humor along the way. More than anything, I respect Kim’s dedication and heart for her work as a priest.

On Sunday, November 14, we will celebrate her ministry amongst us following the 10:30 a.m. service. At that time, we will remember all of her great work here at Grace and Holy Trinity. Kim will be on a well-earned sabbatical until March 31, 2022. The time will allow her to discern where God is calling her in the future.

I will thank Kim many times over the next few weeks for her good work, but I want to thank her now as well. Kim has served as associate through three rectors and a pandemic. A constant during her ministry at Grace and Holy Trinity has been change. She maintained a dedication to Red Door, campus ministry, and our wider church throughout this time.

With gratitude,
Duane
The Rev. Duane Nettles, Rector
