Urban Mission Trip for Youth

Urban Mission Trip for Youth

Thursday, June 27-Sunday, June 30

This summer youth are invited to serve together through a three night, four day Urban Mission experience in RVA. The group will stay at Richmond Hill , a retreat center in Church Hill, and serve community organizations in our city including Shalom Farms, our own Red Door Ministry, and other community partners in the area.

This is both a retreat and a mission experience. When we are not out serving, we will participate in community life at Richmond Hill. This involves morning and evening prayer, each of which is followed by a community meal.

We are in conversations with St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, whose youth ministry will be staying at Richmond Hill at the same time, to cooperate in mission together.
