b'Pa ris hPic nic&Worship at the SauersOn Sunday, October 16 th , we held our fall parish picnic at the riverside home of Brad and Janet Sauer. The event began with a simple service of Evening Prayer with a homily from Duane and a pledge drive talk from Vestry Member Dan McNamara. Following worship, we enjoyed good food and fellowship including oysters and hot dogs specially prepared by Thomas Pully, Todd Dykshorn, and Hank Dykshorn.Gr a ce&H o ly-WeenFor the second year in a row, Children and Youth ministries collaborated to provide the church with our Halloween fair: Grace & Holy-Ween. After Children & Youth Sunday, we gathered in Monroe Park for lots of fall fun. Children colored masks and carved pumpkins. Families and friends posed in front of the photo booth. This was a parish-wide celebration, supported by several key ministries, including Childrens Ministry, Campus Ministry, Spirited Sisters, our Lectionary Study Group, and the Mens Group.A nn ua l ParishMeetin g&M a r di Gr asSund ayThe Annual Parish Meeting and Mardi Gras Sunday is Sunday, February 19 th , 2023. It will be a morning full of joy, celebration, and thanksgiving. The meeting will be held in the church from 9:15 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a review of 2022 and the election of new Vestry members. Following the meeting, our morning service will include music led by jazz musicians. The second annual Mardi Gras Sunday Brunch will then be served in the Parish Hall. Childcare and childrens activities will be offered throughout the morning. Please note there will be no 8:00 a.m. service or breakfast on this Sunday.'
