b'c h oral compl ineOne continuing driver of GHTCs youth formation programs is to build bridges between the parish and the campus ministry at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Toward that end, we have begun a regular weekly service of Compline, with prayers led by our compline quartet. Weve heard clearly and consistently from our parishioners and from the students that everyones lives are busy and often stressful. We know that one way to rest in Christ is to pray once a week in a quiet and contemplative space, supported by the serenity of ancient music. The structure of the Compline service provides a meditative respite, breathing deeply the experience of prayer. We then connect with one another over cookies and coffee. We offer this weekly service on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. Contact: Kyle Bomar - kbomar@ghtc.orgeducationca m p us mi n i s tr yBeginning with the fall semester, we will be more present and visible on the VCU campus. Duringthe summer, we began a rebranding process for the Campus Ministry. To keep our visual clues and our message consistent, we have connected the name and location of the parish with the existing visual presence of the parish and the recognizable shield of the Episcopal church. On Thursdays, our campus ministry team will head to the VCU campus to meet with new and returning students. In addition to the Wednesday evening Compline services, the established weekly Thursday Compline will continue. To better connect parishioners with the campus community, we are expanding our programming opportunities, and will be offering volunteer and leadership training for parishioners who would like to be part of the Campus Ministry team.Contact: Kyle Bomarkbomar@ghtc.org6 | FALL 2022'
