Hope for Ukraine Benefit Concert – September 23

On Saturday, September 23rd, GHTC welcomed the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra & Chorus for the Hope for Ukraine concert as this year’s second Music for a Cause program. The pews were packed with members of this parish joined by a host of other people, some known to us and some new to this place. The music was glorious, and the fortunate audience was visibly moved, surely by the music, but undoubtedly by the courage of these women who have made this considerable effort in support of those they love back home in Ukraine.

We are very happy to report that this concert has raised in excess of $125,000, all of which will go directly to help alleviate the suffering of the people of Ukraine. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all of you who contributed. May God go with them as they continue their concert tour, and deliver them safely home.
