At the conclusion of the November 2023 regular meeting of the vestry, vestry members requested that the following highlights be shared with the parish:
- The vestry encourages the parish to join in this Sunday’s celebration of Beth Davis’ twentieth year of music ministry at GHTC.
- The vestry is pleased with the membership of the Children & Youth Formation Committee, which is comprised of thirteen members including current and past parents of children and youth, seasoned Sunday School teachers within the parish, a member of the vestry, and parish staff and clergy. The committee will hold its first meeting this Sunday.
- The vestry encourages those parishioners who can to attend the the weekly Wednesday morning Eucharist followed by conversations with the clergy.
- The vestry noted the strong participation in our confirmation program, which included nine youth confirmation candidates at the Sunday, November 12th retreat. Bishop Gayle Harris will be at GHTC on Sunday, April 28th to confirm our candidates.
- The vestry expressed its gratitude for the leadership of The Rev. Greg Bezilla, who has worked steadily with the vestry, parish staff, and volunteers to systemize church operations.
