Children & Youth Formation

Beginning Sunday, November 12th, Sunday School for children and youth will take place beginning at 10:30 a.m.

• Children (grades K-4) will meet in the Sunday School Classroom at the top of the stairs from the back entrance of the Parish House. Formation staff will lead Children’s Sunday School using the Godly Play
• Youth (grades 5-12) will meet in the Second Floor Classroom across from the Acolyte Vesting Room/Youth Room. Volunteers Jodie Pully and Lisa Dawson will lead Youth Sunday School using the Feasting on the Word

Children and youth will join worship at the end of Sunday School at 11:15 a.m. to be with their families for Eucharist.

Children’s Choir will rehearse on scheduled Sundays from 11:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. upstairs in room 2C.

Youth Mission Project Planning Meeting

Sunday, February 25, 2024 | 5:30 p.m.
High school age youth are invited to come together to enjoy a meal and plan their next mission project: planting a garden at Bellevue Elementary.

Palm Sunday with Palms in the Park

Sunday, March 24, 2024 | 10:30 a.m.
Families with children of all ages are invited to join the intergenerational Palm Sunday worship service, which will begin with a palm procession in Monroe Park.

Easter Day, Rite Two with the Raising of the Alleluia Banner

Sunday, March 31, 2024 | 10:30 a.m.
On the morning of Easter Day, children are invited to raise the “Alleluia!” banner, join in the flowering of the cross, and hear a sermon just for them during the 10:30 a.m. Holy Communion service. Following worship, children will get to participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Monroe Park.

Confirmation Retreat & Youth Mission Project

Confirmation Retreat | 9:00 a.m.
Youth Mission Project | 1:00 p.m.

During the Confirmation retreat, confirmands will learn about and explore the question: “What does it mean to be a member of Grace & Holy Trinity?” All high school youth are invited to participate in a mission project to plant a garden at Bellevue Elementary and will be joined by the confirmands in the afternoon.

Parents Night Out

Friday, April 19, 2024 | 5:00 p.m.
Children and parents, we invite you to join us for our next upcoming Parents’ Night Out on Friday, April 19th! Children will enjoy fun and fellowship based around the theme of Pentecost. Location for parents’ happy hour will be provided in the coming weeks. You are invited to drop off your children at the church at 5:00pm. and pick them up by 9:30pm. We hope to see you there! Holy Eucharist and Children & Youth Sunday

Older children and youth of all ages are invited to serve as lectors, acolytes, ushers, and greeters as they help to lead the parish in worship. This service will also feature music by our children’s music program.

Senior Recognition Sunday

On Mother’s Day, we invite all graduating seniors to attend church with their families and be recognized for their accomplishments.

Parents’ Night Out

Friday, May 16, 2024 | 5:00 pm
We invite parents to a fellowship hour while we provide childcare. At Church, children share in a meal and participate in activities. This Parents’ Night Out will focus on the theme of Pentecost.
