Requiem

Held April 3, 2022 during the 10:30 a.m. worship service

“The Requiem: A Thanksgiving for Life by Sir Philip Ledger was sung by the Parish Choir under the baton of Dr. Beth Melcher Davis, supported by a chamber ensemble and Mark Koontz, organist, and dedicated to the memory of Randy Totten and Nancy Perrins. We cannot thank Beth, the choir, and the musicians enough for their glorious, transcendent presentation of this celebration of life. The church was nearly full, and at the closing chord, the congregation was transfixed, and you could have heard a communion wafer drop. Chase Peak opened the service and opened every heart in the parish with a solo from Rutter’s “Mass of the Children,” which we had often heard Randy sing.”
